Job Description:

Numerator is looking for passionate and analytical individuals to join as Data Scientists. The ideal candidate should process excellent communication skills, a foundational understanding of data analysis, and the enthusiasm to learn and grow in the data science domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze disaggregated data using modeling, statistics, and machine learning techniques to generate actionable insights.
• Work with tools such as R, Python, and SQL to clean, manipulate, and analyze diverse datasets.
• Apply various statistical methods and modeling techniques (e.g., probability models, regression, clustering) to support client inquiries.
• Gain deep knowledge of Numerator’s analytical solutions and understand their technical and business value.
• Share best practices and insights within teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Communicate complex analytical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Qualification:

Education:

• Any graduate degree (preferred in mathematics, statistics, science, or related fields).
• Higher education in a relevant domain is an added advantage but not mandatory.

Communication skills:

• Strong English Communication (both written and spoken) with a clear and neutral accent.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams and organizational levels.

Preferred Technical Skills:

• Mandatory proficiency in R and Git
• Experience with Python, SQL, SAS, and Shiny.
• Familiarity with panel or survey data is a plus.
• Understanding of data handling, statistical analysis, and machine learning.
• Ability to visualize data insights using the R ecosystem.

• Ability to handle and interpret large datasets.
• Proficiency in explaining complex concepts in simple terms.
